The name may not sound extravagant; it represents our beginnings. Woodify originated in a two-car garage in , Kansas.

I had spent many years employed by large construction companies, creating everything from simple homes to elaborate estates. The issue was that everyone hurried to complete the work. The general contractor only wanted the project finished, which meant they would constantly urge the team to rush through the details—the trim, the cabinets, the flooring. I became frustrated seeing quality materials installed poorly.

Ultimately, I chose to concentrate solely on the end result: high-quality finish work. I left my job, purchased a new saw, and launched Woodify Workshop to demonstrate that a carpentry business could thrive on craftsmanship rather than speed. We've since left that garage behind, but the principle remains unchanged: If it's a detail you encounter daily, it must be flawless.
